Not A Centralized Campaign

One thing we learned is that the geography of the city is difficult. Major evangelistic revival meetings with a ‘big name speaker’ will not be the model for the outreach in Chicago.

D.L. Moody held many small meetings and initiatives during the 1893 World’s Fair in three zones of the city; north, south and west of the Chicago River. Metro Chicago has now grown to a size greater than 4000 square miles as participation would be expected from Gary to Kankakee to Rockford to Milwaukee.

People from 200 language groups live in Chicago which is representative of all the language groups of the world. Our diversity is singular in the world.
